About Anna

I am warm, creative, compassionate. I love working with kids because I love to be around their joyful curiosity and openness, love exploring and creating with them, and find caring for them to be incredibly rewarding. In my other work, I am a freelance artist and musician who just finished graduate school, and enjoy bringing music to kids, whether lullabies to infants or teaching songs to kids, drawing, dancing. I'm looking for a job that allows me to offer what I am best at -- compassionate care! I started working with kids when I was a teenager myself, babysitting, and have loved working with toddlers and elementary-school children and elders over the last decade. I've worked primarily in music and art education settings -- teaching workshops, music lessons, working at summer music camps, and doing in-school presentations with elementary schools. In my spare time, I play violin and sing, paint, visit the Botanic garden and do care work for chronically ill neighbors.
