Most of my experience has been supporting children on the autism spectrum, meeting each child where they are with patience, consistency, and compassion. I have extensive experience with children aged 0-6 and several years of experience with children aged 7-12. I believe in gentle parenting principles, child-led play, and providing the loving structure that helps children feel safe, confident, and empowered. Whether we're exploring educational activities, solving puzzles, or using imaginative play, I strive to create a warm, engaging environment where children can flourish. With coursework in Early Childhood Development and training in CPR and First Aid, I bring both knowledge and heart to every family I support. Anna has been with our family for four years, care for our two daughters, now ages 4 and 2. Our girls are VERY strong-willed, and Anna has the perfect balance of being incredibly patient, warm, and loving while also being firm and consistent. She is extremely engaged and interactive with the girls. She regularly takes them on outings to the park, library, circle time, nature walks, and other activities, and at home she is always reading with them, crafting, encouraging imaginative play, or finding something fun and age-appropriate to do. She handles their meals and snacks and is wonderful about communicating with us throughout the day. What really sets Anna apart though is how genuinely she loves and cares for our girls. They absolutely adore her - everyone in our house gets excited when it's an "Anna Day". She cares for our daughters as if they were her own. Over the years, Anna has also become a trusted resource and touchpoint for us when it comes to child development. I value her perspective, experience, and instincts tremendously. There are very few people I trust explicitly with my children, and Anna is one of them. Our family is beyond lucky to have her, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Anna caring for their children.
