About Anna

I am a New England born educator with 10+ years of childcare experience, including one year as a full-time nanny, five as a camp counselor, four in a classroom, and many more babysitting for all ages. I love to make music and art with kids, read books, explore the outdoors, share meals, and have big conversations. Nap time and bedtime are well within my comfort zone! If needed, I am also available for homework help or structured tutoring in multiple subjects. My style is warm and relaxed! I always speak to children with respect, curiosity, and compassion, listening to their ideas and encouraging their creativity. As a disciplinarian, I coach children through challenging moments using a structured problem-solving approach and follow through consistently with expected or natural consequences instead of punishment. As needed, I use mindfulness and somatic techniques to help kids build self-awareness and regulate their big feelings. I would love to meet you!
