About Anna

My name is Anna. I'm a graduate student at Brandeis University. I'm from North Carolina originally, where I acquired 15 yrs of experience working with children ranging in age from 1. 5 wks-13 yrs old through babysitting and nannying. I received my babysitters' training and CPR certification through the Red Cross. I also have experience teaching children. From 2008-2009 I developed and implemented a children's after school care program in the Dominican Republic for children aged 3 yrs-12 yrs old. In college I was a substitute teacher in a preschool and volunteered with a variety of educational programs working with children. Aside from my professional experience, I simply love working with kids. I love watching the way children experience the world with such imagination and awe, and I enjoy exploring that with them. As a babysitter, I am very active. I prefer not to rely on technology working with children. Instead, I prefer games, stories, and outdoor adventure.
