About Anna

Hi there, I am a rising junior at Boston College studying Biology and Public Health! I do not have any paid elder care experience, but I am eager and quick to learn new skills. For the last year I have been volunteering in an ambulation unit (specializing in elder patients with Dementia) at Newton Wellesley Hospital answering call lights and assisting patients during mealtimes, providing companionship and stimulation for dementia patients, and assisting with clerical duties. I have also completed a UMASS global healthcare systems medical assistant certification, possess a BLS/CPR certification from the Red Cross, and have several years of childcare experience. I'm organized, a multitasker, and a great listener. I would to serve as a companion and caretaker for a senior as we learn more about each other and ourselves this summer!
