About Annalynn

Since I was 16, I have been employed as a helper for elderly members of my community. I mostly worked through my church, and assisted different church members who were suffering from mobility issues due to age. Some duties I helped with include meal prep, transport, medication scheduling, housecleaning, reading, and general companionship. I have worked with people who deal with severe mobility issues (from walkers to power-chairs), as well as one lady who was in the early stages of Alzheimer's (though I would like to be clear, that job was my only experience with working with someone who needed specialized care). My passion for helping seniors stems from my desire to serve my community, and also from my love of learning. I believe that senior care offers unique opportunities to build relationships, as well as learn about history and culture from a point of view that I will never experience myself.
