I have been student-teaching for the past three years, running after-school programs for the last four, and even before that I was often volunteering with childcare groups. When working with kids, I see it as much more as just a "job", as I think every child has infinite worth and deserves my best. In other words, I take it very seriously to make sure I show up everyday with the best attitude I can for the students and kids I work with! The reason I have gotten into this profession is because I get a lot of joy from understanding each child and their unique personality, as I want to do my part to invest in them and their future success - and of course have some some fun along the way! I know Anna personally from working alongside her at a non-profit after school program. She is so great with kids! Anna is responsible, caring, and full of energy when hanging with kiddos! She is also creative and gifted in planning age-appropriate activities + experiences. Any family would be lucky to have Anna as their sitter!
