Anna was hired as the nanny for a 2-day/week nanny share with a 4 month and 14 month old. She worked for us for 3 weeks. We all ultimately decided it was not a good fit. I want to hopefully provide insight to help other families seeking care. Our families are bubbly, love being silly and free with the kids, and value the "it takes a village" mindset. In this way, our personalities and values weren't a good fit for Anna. I believe Anna will thrive with someone who can very clearly outline every expectation and responsibility before she begins work. How do you want her to communicate regarding time off requests, how often should diapers be changed, etc ? Anna will also likely do best with a single family with one young child. It was tough for her to juggle the diapering demands of two children, putting one down to nap with another awake, etc. There was a concerning instance of forgetting to turn on the room AC unit during the infant's nap and the room was a much too hot (85+). She did apologize and we recognize that mistakes happen, however it felt risky to continue. I believe our care situation had too many demands for her to thrive.
