I've been a tutor for 3 years & I received my degree in Family & Consumer Sciences from Colorado State University. I'm a licensed educator in Colorado & Florida. I've been a high school teacher since Jan. 2023 & was a substitute teacher for the year prior! I love working with students & am excited to grow my tutoring business I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, structured, & adventurous! I like tutoring because I love sharing my passion for all different subjects (especially math) & seeing students also love it when they finally understand it! In my free time, I like to travel whether it is with my adventure cat, Joey, or on a solo trip! One thing you should know about me is I love to include social emotional learning in my tutoring sessions because it not only improves student's academics, it improves their lives & helps them prepare for their future! My skills include making math fun & learnable, connecting with students, & communicating with parents!
