Hello! I have 9 years of teaching experience in grades Pre-K - 5th in private and public schools. I also tutor and teach S. T. E. A. M. classes for enrichment. I have a graduate degree in Early Childhood education and have NY state certification in Early Childhood, K-2nd grade. I would be a good fit for families that are seeking someone to tutor/babysit/after school care. Not only could I lovingly care for your child/children but can also help with academics and implement fun art/S. T. E. A. M. projects! My greatest capability is individually educating and challenging a child's capabilities by learning about each child and their interests, teaching to their differentiated learning styles, incorporating multimodal learning activities that promote student discovery and implementing strategies that improve students' academics and social-emotional growth. I strive to bring humor, kindness, and a balance of adult/teacher-directed and child-initiated experiences that make us smile. :)
