I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, & compassionate. I like caring for seniors because they are a joy to be around. I love to be the listening ear who takes them down memory lane. I also enjoy learning about the interests of clients so that I can provide a more personalized experience. I love to make the seniors feel they have someone who they can trust. I'm looking for a job that will fit my schedule and provide a work life balance. I started caring for seniors when my great grandmother developed dementia. My grandmother, being an elder herself, was left the task to care for her. I knew at that point I would need to step up and fill her shoes. Stepping into this role I gained a sense of compassion for caring for others. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I will love and care for your loved one as if they were my own. My skills include meal prep, medication management, dementia care, & companionship.
