I am in Vancouver and only want to work in Washington. I have over 20 years of working in special education in the public school system. While working in the schools I worked with children who had physical handicaps, emotional issues, social skill deficits, children on the autism spectrum, Down syndrome, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, dyslexia and those who were medically fragile. I have also worked with children needing learning support and tutoring. When my youngest was born I had an in home daycare for 12 children, including some with special needs, until she entered kindergarten. I'm a grandmother to 21-year-old with Asperger's, sensory processing disorder, and significant social delays. I also do respite care for adult special needs.
