About Anika

Hi! My name is Anika, and I have about 2 years of experience babysitting from when I was 13-15 years old, am a current nanny to a 4 yr old boy Mon-early Wedneday, and have 2 years experience as a CNA in geriatrics. This experience is relevant as it requires so much patience, empathy, companionship, advocacy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. I absolutely love kids and could keep them entertained for hours (even if I get a little winded.) If you want your child to spend more time playing and learning instead of on screens, I'm great at succesfully encouraging that while making it fun. I am also open to helping with homework and tutoring. While I may not be a parent myself, I have always believed wholeheartedly in the concept of gentle parenting, and my patience and empathy are two of my strongest qualities. I am committed to helping you feel as safe and informed as possible as a parent - and to earning your childs trust and happiness as well.
