Anh came very highly recommended by 3 active clients, all of whom have severe mobility challenges but intact cognition. As they described, she is reliable, charming, caring and attentive. She is also attractive, well-dressed and punctual. She definitely wants to please and is flexible with her time, as well as clear about other commitments. Unfortunately, my dad has dementia, a condition that Anh seemed to have less experience working with. Coupled with extreme narcissism, antisocial tendencies and grief due to my mother’s recent death, he is difficult to manage. Dad fired her for reasons of his own- she had had little chance to demonstrate her capabilities and personality. If it were up to me, she would still be working with us and Dad would be the clear beneficiary.
