About Angie

Hello! I'm a graduate from Portland State's Textile art program and studied fine art at CalArts. I have 7 years experience in childcare and 4 years experience as an educator. I currently work developing curriculum and leading workshops for artists of all ages. I primarily work as a fine art textile artist (sewing, weaving, surface design, and sustainable fashion design), and really enjoy sharing these skills with young artists as their enthusiasm for learning inspires me endlessly. My ideal situation would be to work as a private art teacher for the summer for a family or for a group of kids together. I would also be interested in helping an older kid prepare their art portfolio for college admissions. I would prefer to be working 20-30 hours a week, and I am very covid cautious/ vaccinated and boosted.
