About Angie

I taught H. S. English Language Arts for 24 years; retired in 2018. Well-versed in test prep, including STAAR, Pre-AP and AP English, PSAT/SAT. I have taught all levels of high school, but mostly 10th-grade, regular and Pre-AP. Since retiring, I have tutored in a variety of situations: after-school, providing homework and organizational support to students attending brick-and-mortar school, supporting/supervising students doing virtual school from home, and summer sessions to stave off learning loss. I am very familiar with the Connections Academy online platform and have some familiarity with the UT Virtual High School platform. As a certified and experienced teacher, I have many tools in my toolbelt.
