I am a licensed Nurse . I have been a nurse for over 15 years. I have worked with numerous patients with different level of care. I take pride in helping others. I absolutely love what I do. I'd describe my personality as kind, funny, outgoing. I like caring for seniors because they make my days brighter! I've always been a old soul myself. I'm looking for a job that won't feel like a job because I will be doing what I love. I would like to be able to give the person I would be caring for some peace of mind when they see me show up to care for them. One thing you should know about me is when I was little I was very sick. I was in and out of the hospital. I always found comfort in the people who cared for me. That's why I chose my line of work. I want to give back to others like others had done for me. I really am passionate about what I do.

Angel takes loving care of my 80yr mother who has mild dementia and prone to falls. Angel's CNA background gave her the experience to really care for my mom and also make recommendations to help me take care of her also. A few weeks ago, my mom had a bad fall during the night when it was just me and her at home and she fractured her back. She spent almost 3 wks in the hospital and another 2.5 weeks at a rehab facility. Throughout the entire ordeal Angel came to the hospital to keep my mom company AND make sure she was getting the attention needed due to her increased dementia in the hospital. At the rehab center Angel filled in the gaps when there was not enough staff and changed my mom, fed her, and took her to physical therapy daily so that I could work during the day and feel comfortable that my mom was well taken care of. I know the rehab staff is supposed to do these things but they are under staffed and having Angel there gave me much peace of mind. When my mom returned home, Angel continued the care covering things like clothing changes, making meals and even helping me with minor tasks around the house as I was drowning between work and my mom's health issues. Angel was willing to stay longer on urgent days that I really needed help like help me check my mom out of rehab and take her to doctors. Angel's CNA background is always a tremendous help as she knew signs of health issues, how to get my mom safely from wheelchair in and out of cars and help train her to use walker, and do the many caring things for my mom that means so much (wash her, paint nails, cut hair, play games with her, take her to backyard for outside time, etc). Angel treats my mom with such love and care that she is like family.
