About Angelina J

Hello! I am a caring and supportive educator who absolutely delights in supporting students' growth. I was a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher for two years, and also have experience as a tutor, school counselor, program coordinator, youth mentor, and legal assistant. I speak English and French, and can offer tutoring in any academic subject, from literacy for little ones, all the way up through high school (before Calculus). My student support method is to make their academics seem less intimidating and more approachable. I help students understand patterns in their work to simplify processes and relieve overthinking and tendencies to freeze, flight, or fight. Every student is different, and every student deserves support! I am always honored to help their growth through adapting to their various levels and needs, and empowering them to understand how they truly can make progress.
