About Angelica

I like working with kids because I genuinely love being able to witness the joy, wonder, and growth that comes with working with children. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old volunteering at a summer camp that I used to go to as a kid. I would work with kids from first grade to eighth grade. I would work about 200 hours each summer for three years. I absolutely loved it throughout those three years I started working with a kid with Down Syndrome, he was the most loving kid I've ever met. After taking care of him for a few years I realized I found my passion at such a young age. I began to babysit a few families with 2 children between the ages of 2 to 8 years old during my middle school and high school time. After I graduated, I went out an inclusion camp counselor, a counselor, who worked one on one with children, special needs. My goal is to support each child's growth well also ensuring they feel understood, valued, and nurtured under my care.
