About Angelica

Hey! My name is Angelica, and caring for others has always been a big part of my life. As the oldest in a large family, I began helping care for younger siblings and cousins at a young age. By 15, I was independently caring for my nephew on weekends, preparing meals, organizing activities, and creating a safe environment for him. These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of making children feel comfortable and cared for. I currently work as a teacher's assistant in an after-school program for elementary students, where I help children build confidence, teamwork, &social skills in a positive environment. I enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel supported. I also have experience with pet sitting and have cared for both cats and dogs since I was 12. I am a cat owner and understand how important it is to find trustworthy care for pets. My background has provided me with skills in communication, problem-solving, and empathy, which make me an ideal caregiver.
