About Angelica

I have been working with children of different ages from 6 weeks to 13 years old for over seven years. My understanding of the physical and emotional needs of children is widespread. I am competent at looking after infants and children. I have obtained hands-on experience while employed at a daycare as an infant and toddler teacher and as a nanny. I also have experience working with special needs children from ages 3 to 12. I am currently employed as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. My experience with special needs children has taught me patience and compassion. I am a certified Emergency Medical Technician and a Healthcare Specialist in the Army National Guard. My medical experience has equipped me with a unique set of skills, such as the ability to work under pressure and to work very efficiently. I am CPR and First-Aid certified so safety is my utmost concern and I carefully monitor children when I take them on outings.
