I am a 50-year-old mom of 5 children and 1 stepchild. Ages 31, 22, 21 and twins that are 18. My stepdaughter is 17. I have more than 17 years of experience in daycare, private care and homeschooling and private home health. I honestly feel that caring for others is my what I am meant to do. Because this is what I have chosen for my life, I am hoping to find a family that is willing to commit long term. Becoming a part of a growing family is my goal. I believe in becoming an extension of the parent as I care for a child. I provide care as you would, according to your beliefs, even if those beliefs are not consistent with my own. Consistency is key. It makes the transition back and forth from parent to caregiver easier on the child. Daily activity logs are essential. I provide information such as diaper changes, meals, naps, amount of free play, type of structured activities, mood changes and anything else that may be important for you to know.
