About Andrianna

I believe I was born as a natural caregiver and I simply enjoy taking care of people. I understand and recognize that care giving is not always a glamorous job, and that's OK. My past experience includes caring for a 68-year-old man with Dementia. My duties with him included med management, bathing and dressing, meal preparation, and sitting with him while his wife ran errands and took care of other business outside the home. My other experiences with the elderly include employment at a hospital in Woodbury, TN. This facility was a lock down facility for geriatric patients that, due to either Alzheimer's or Dementia, had lost the ability to understand and remember what they were doing, in conjunction with acting out. I am a Social Worker so, on top of doing med management (with supervision by the head RN, since it was a facility), I also assisted in bathing, dressing and other ADL's. I was also responsible for cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as bio-psycho-social assessments. I really enjoy working with the elderly and feel that elderly care involves the whole family, as everyone is involved in the care. I look forward to working with your family soon!
