About Andrew

I love helping children grow and learn in safe environments. I describe myself as fun loving, goofy, and responsible. I'm sensitive, kind comfortable with helping kids learn to express their emotions. My special skill is getting any kid, no matter how shy or introverted, to open up to me quickly. I will meet them on their level! I started as a teenager working at a summer camp for special needs kids. Later in life, I made childcare my career, worked with the county as an afterschool substitute teacher, K-12. I saw thousands of kids and learned how to handle lots of different personalities and needs. Later I widened my experience working with 2-5-year-olds, along with still working with kids aged K-12. I managed classes with anywhere from 10-18 kids by myself, and learned how to build day activities tailored to what kids actually need.
