About Andrea

Hi! I'm Andrea. I've spent much of my life working with kids--as a dance coach for many years, five years working in a school district, working in a school office, and as a licensed substitute teacher. But my favorite role is TT to my niece and nephew, who I'm happy to report consider me one of their favorite humans. I'm the aunt who puts on performances, builds an entire magical land out of a fort (complete with characters and a storyline), plans adventures, makes things, gets messy, and is usually willing to go along with the wonderfully ridiculous idea. I genuinely love entering kids' worlds and using imagination to make ordinary days feel special. My professional experience gives me the other half: patience, structure, responsibility, and an understanding of different ages and needs. I'm dependable, communicative, comfortable helping with homework and routines, and happy to help with meals, pickups, activities, light tidying, and pets.
