About Andrea

I am a mom of four kids, ages 17, 17, 20, and 22. I was a middle school theatre teacher in Hazelwood, but I decided to stay home with my children. During the 17 years that I was home, I taught fitness classes at the local Rec Plex. I taught a mommy and me class for toddlers, a pre-K class, and classes for teens and adults. I also volunteered at my kids' school directing musicals and serving as the children's cast director for an annual production for many years. More recently, in my master's program at Webster University, I have studied Reggio methods, storytelling, teaching writing, and living history. My master's degree is in Communication Arts. I am a certified teacher (English, Speech, and Theatre, grades 7-12.) I love children of all ages and I am particularly interested and excited about their learning. I love to sing, tell stories, and listen to the exciting stories kids love to tell!
