About Andrea

I majored in social work, and have worked as a social worker in a nursing and rehab center as well as in foster care. I sincerely enjoy the senior population. When I worked at a nursing home, the thing I liked most was actually sitting and talking with the residents. I would greatly enjoy providing companionship services to a senior. Playing a game, taking a walk, running an errand, feeding the pets, light housekeeping, etc., are all things that I would love to do as part of providing companion services. As a few side notes, I have also worked extensively with the public in retail, providing 1:1 customer service. Additionally, I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for 3 and 4-year-olds, and held a story time at the toy store I worked at. I would describe myself as a people and animal friendly person. I truly love working with the senior population. I am seeking a part time position.
