I have always enjoyed being around children. I majored in social work, and worked as a caseworker for foster care and then as a social worker in a nursing home. I have also volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for 3 and 4-year-olds. While working at a specialty toy shop for the past 15 years, I held a story time for children on a weekly basis. In addition, I have about 20 nieces and nephews. I love doing crafts, being outside and enjoying nature, reading stories, playing games, etc. I can also help with meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands.
