About Andrea

Nurturing a child's development has been my passion since 2009, when I began in a home daycare. Since then I've spent 2 years as an assistant Pre-K teacher and 15 years in child welfare, assessing family needs, managing crisis, and supporting family growth. I hold a Bachelor's in Psychology, am pursuing my MBA, and am a Red Cross Certified CPR/First Aid Trainer. My approach is rooted in Montessori learning: children try things themselves with guidance, building independence. I create hands-on, screen-free environments and teach through museums, libraries, and community activities. Secure attachment is my first priority. I maintain your household routines and help with meals, housekeeping, and carpooling. As a parent myself, I bring my own 2. 5-year-old. She's happy, bright, and nurturing even at her age - a wonderful playmate, especially for a shyer child. I adapt to your preferred communication style and look forward to finding the perfect fit.
