About Andrea

Hello! Some of my experience in child care includes being a counselor at a 4-H camp for 4 years where I over saw groups of 3-10 children ranging from the ages of 6-14 years old, typically with troubled backgrounds. I helped plan and execute activities, chores, leadership opportunities, and safety. I've worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor over 8 years, in which I cared/instructed children ages of 3 months to 16 years of age. I've babysat for numerous families in my community since I was 14 years of age and helped raise my 5 nieces and nephews while their father had been deployed. I prefer planning outside activities and getting their bodies and minds moving while also enjoyed having down time to relax and be creative. I love spending time outdoors and on water, as well as cross stitching, reading and doing puzzles at home. I'm primarily looking to help families out on weekends or for date nights as I work 4 days a week as a pediatric dental assistant.
