About Andrea

Hello! I'm Andrea, and I was born and raised here in South Bend, Indiana. I just completed my bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with Concentrations in Theater Arts, Vocal Performance, and Sociology. After three and a half years as a full-time student, I received some amazing opportunities and took a year off, in which I nannied in VA and volunteered with an artist's organization for children's education in India. I also spent my 3rd summer during that time as the CIT Coordinator at Fernwood Cove, an all-girls, traditional, overnight summer camp in Harrison, Maine. My responsibilities over the years have included serving as a "Bunk Mom" for 80 girls, overseeing their immediate safety and concerns, and planning/running various activities. I know that caring for children is more than just overseeing their safety and well-being, but helping them grow and develop in whatever areas they need to become kind, considerate, respectful people. I am looking for a full-time position, and my hours are incredibly flexible. I am also willing to be flexible with my rate, but would rather negotiate said rate in a personal interview. I'm sure we can come to a solution that would suit both parties, and reflect my experience.
