I have a 29-year-old adult child with disabilities who is now pretty well sufficient while still under my roof. I'm fluent in Spanish and have great ASL skills. Having a child with disabilities has taught me patience and compassion and the ability to multi-task between work, home, and most importantly attending events with my daughter to expose her to other individuals with and without disabilities. If it wasn't for her being under my care, she would not be where she is today. My most important contribution is patience and to go along with the moods the individual are in to not aggravate more. I know how hard it is to find dependable and care that we can entrust our loved ones to. For this reason, I would be a great companion and caregiver. Thank you for the opportunity.
