My name is Ana. I'm an experienced educator with over 10 years of experience. I hold current certifications in child development, CPR/first aid response and a college degree. I have experience working with students in different grade levels (K-12) in general ed. I'm currently working as a Special Ed teacher for K-1 for FCPS, and I also manage my own tutoring center remotely. As a teacher, I like to use a variety of learning approaches like: Multi-sensory teaching approach, the OG approach for reading a writing, project and problem based learning for math, among others. Always following a personalized learning plan created to support them on any specific learning need they might have. My main goal as an educator is to build my students' confidence and help them succeed with 1:1 in-person tutoring sessions after school.
