About Ana

I am enthusiastic, fun, and kind. I like working with kids because I've always admired how kids truly live in the present moment, thus having a unique perspective about life. Also, since I come from a large family, I grew up caring for my little brothers and now do the same for my nephews. In college I worked two years as a reading tutor for elementary school children. In 2014, while studying abroad in Spain, I tutored English to 5 kids. Now, I am a substitute teacher wishing to earn supplemental income. My skills include actually playing with kids (tag, board games, soccer, etc.), deescalating conflict and promoting verbal communication, assessing children's needs, and strong communications skills. In my spare time, I like to ride my bike, jog, do yoga, and go on long walks. Although I am not a parent myself (just yet), I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHILDREN and really look forward to the day that I become a mother :) I hope I can help your family thrive!
