I am a 43-year-old grandmother who enjoys cleaning and organizing. I have decided that I want to do something besides sit at a desk all day. I have 2 clients that I clean for on a weekly basis. They said I performed miracles, so I figured this would be a nice way to have an extra income and help others in the process. I can clean, do errands and keep things organized for you. I also love pets as well. I am looking to make this a business for myself. I have worked as an administrative assistant for 20 years. I was laid off last year due to a decline in the business. Amy set up two interviews with me. She called off the first one same day, a couple hours short of meeting due to being held up at a job. We rescheduled. She was no call/no show for that interview. I emailed her asking if she forgot and wanted to reschedule. After 48 hours without a response, I emailed the following, "Amy, I am surprised you haven't communicated with me since your no call/no show on Tues. Please give me a reasonable explanation for your behavior. I realize emergencies can happen, etc., but I was entitled to a phone call. I waited 45 minutes for you. I hate to do it, but if I don't hear from you I will be forced to post this situation on your comments." She responded by saying she apologizes but...she owes me no explanation, she doesn't work for me and that MY behavior was "uncalled for". She said threatening to post this situation was uncalled for. Good Lord! She was very inappropriate and took no responsibility for inconveniencing me. She did say that she had a family emergency after telling me about my bad behavior. I gave her reasonable opportunities to resolve this professionally, but unfortunately she chose otherwise. I would not recommend due to unprofessional behavior, poor conflict resolution skills, tardiness and no call/no show.
