About Amy

Working with children and watching them grow into independent people is one of my greatest joys. With a graduate degree as a library media specialist, a teacher of 25 years and 29 years of active parenting, I have a great deal of experience in nurturing kids and teaching while managing a household and a classroom. Both teaching and raising a family take creativity and a sense of humor; I am grateful that I have maintained both of these attributes throughout my career. I am seeking to engage with little ones while keeping them active in educational, artistic and physical opportunities. I believe communication of expectations is one of the most important aspects in healthy family relationships. Though my primary goal is to enjoy working with your children, I am always willing to do some household duties as well. I look forward to being a caring and reliable adult for your family. My goal is to become certified in CPR as well.
