About Amy

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, caring and supportive I like working with animals because I enjoy what they bring to my life. I have worked in the veterinary field for almost 30 years now as both a tech and a csc and am grateful I get to work around dogs and cats. I'm looking for a job that I can get back to pet sitting now that my kids are grown. I started working with animals when I started volunteering at an animal shelter in 1995. I started going every day after school and when a kennel job opened up I applied. I worked my way up to working as a veterinary technician and did that for many years until moving up to the front office and working as a csc for the last 17 years. I did pet sitting for many years in the early part of my career and stopped when I had kids. I'm looking to get back into it now. In my spare time, I like to read, paint. Scrapbook, watch movies, music My skills include giving medications, giving injections walking any size/breed of dogs.
