About Amy

I have been married for 31 years and I have two children. My children are ages 30 and 28. I started doing child care when my eldest started kindergarten and my youngest, preschool. I had called about a child care ad in a paper, and I found out it was my son's new kindergarten teacher. So, while she was with my son at school teaching him, I was with her son at home taking care of him. He was 10 months old when I started watching him. Through her I also started watching another child who was 1-year-old at the time. I took care of both children until it was time for them to start school. I also took care of a 2-year-old girl for 2 years until we moved recently to Delaware. I love taking care of children and watching them learn and grow. I also have experience in senior care and have for 15 years. I love animals and volunteered at an animal shelter for 2 years. Some of my interests are being outdoors, going to the beach, crafts, movies. I am available for care in your home or mine.
