A little about me
 I've always wanted to become a teacher, and if that didn't work out, my second dream was to become a NICU nurse. Instead, I had the opportunity to move to Canada for about a year, where I worked with children of all ages, mainly preteens and teenagers. That experience confirmed how much I love working with kids and helping them grow through different milestones.

When I returned to Texas, I knew I wanted to continue working with families and supporting children in their development. I have been working with kids of all ages for about five years now. In addition to childcare, I also have experience with household managing and supervising. I am CPR and First Aid certified & bilingual.

Amy is excellent with children! She is very fun and quick witted but also knows how to act rapidly and maturely when faced with a problem. I'm writing  to whole heartedly recommend Amy as a baby sitter. I had the privilege of working closely alongside her while she led multiple groups of children in grades 6-8, and I was consistently inspired by her energy, warmth and natural abilities with kids in our group. 
Amy has a gift for making children feel comfortable, especially those who are quiet, anxious and shy, while also creating an atmosphere that is fun. She made our kids feel safe, seen and included. She is an incredibly engaging person whether she is telling stories, playing games with the kids, or simply just being silly, our kids were naturally drawn to her.
Beyond her work with children, Amy had a big impact on me personally, I have so many memories of working with her and learned a lot from her example. 
I am confident that Amy is a trustworthy, responsible young girl who is full of heart and love for all children. I would again, confidently trust her to care for my family or if I had the opportunity again to work with her. I believe any family would truly be lucky to have her as a babysitter. 

Amy took care of my kids for over a year. She is so fun and my kids loved her. I am so happy I found her to take care of my two little ones. All I care is that they are safe and have a good time, and Amy was perfect for that.

We lived in Austin and had Amy with our family for about a year before moving to Chicago for a job opportunity.
