I'd describe my personality as compassionate, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because it's amazing to see the world through their eyes as they learn and explore. I'm looking for a job that eases the burden of the parents and allows the kids to be kids. Also a job that balances well with my own family's needs. I started working with kids when I was 14 as a mother's helper. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my kids and my husband! Right now we love the botanical garden and the rocket center plus the playground at Dublin Park. One thing you should know about me is I am a professional chef and event planner, taking a break from doing that work full time because I have a 5-month-old baby. My skills include making children of all ages feel comfortable, providing structured and free time play, and making nutritious meals.

My kids (3 years old & 6 months old) had a blast with Amy and they were so well taken care of. I was nervous to leave my 6 month old for the first time but she was in excellent hands with Amy!
