About Amy

My gift is my ability to meet people where they are, make people feel comfortable, and give families a peace of mind and confidence that their loved ones will be well cared for, respected, and appreciated for who they are now and where they have been. I have 12 plus years of experience working in Senior care, my most recent position was with a woman in Boulder whom I had been with for the past 7 years. I am happy to share her families information for reference purposes. Though my degree is in teaching and I have spent most of my life working with children, I have found that my true passion is working with the elderly. I find joy in being able to bring a smile to their day, add some laughter, and making their days easier and enjoyable. My sense of humor, easy going and flexible personality, and my ability to know when to engage and when to step back have proven to be a great asset when working with all persons, and especially those with dementia/Alzheimer's/memory loss.
