About Amy

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, Test Preparation, Computers, and Study Skills for all levels from elementary through college. I believe in fostering a love for learning by creating a patient, supportive environment where complex problems become manageable steps. I assess your unique learning style through active observation and adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world connections. I prioritize clear communication to build trust and ensure we are always working toward your specific goals. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to supporting your growth and celebrating your successes as we embark on this learning journey together.
