Amy worked with my aunt who had dementia for about five years. She assisted her with bathing and dressing. Amy also did some meal prep and ran errands when necessary. I think the most important thing Amy did for my aunt was to serve as her companion. They played simple card games, which I think helped to keep her mind active. My aunt also loved jigsaw puzzles so they would work on those together. I sincerely would recommend Amy for any type of elder care position.
