About Kayla

I've been working with kids since I was young. Initially I was a volunteer in a summer camp for 2 years where I worked with kids helping run activities and teach swim lessons. I then babysat for few years. I spent a year working as a behavior technician, where I helped teach life skills to children with special needs. I also spent a year working at a childcare center. I've spent the last few years working as a substitute teacher and nanny. I love working with kids, because every kid is different. I love seeing kids personalities come through and engaging with them in the best way for them as an individual. I love coming up with activities that they'll enjoy, whether that is crafts or science projects or games. In between my other work experience, I worked as a lifeguard and am still certified as well as being CPR certified.
