I am fortunate to have a lifetime of experience caring for animals! My mom, a midwife, would bring home boxes of kittens and other strays she would collect from her patient's farms. Our childhood dog was with us until I went to college, and not many days passed before another family dog joined us. As an adult, I've had my own dogs and cats over the years and have also volunteered with rescue groups with fostering and transporting animals. All of my animals are rescues; 2 dogs and 3 cats.
