I have 11 years of teaching experience and have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. I have taught kindergarten through second grade and have tutored students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The students I tutored had a wide range of needs, some needed to review concepts and practice skills while others were working on enrichment. This includes tutoring multilingual learners and students with special needs. I believe that students should feel safe and comfortable when learning. Students are encouraged to take risks and learn from mistakes. I have tutored students in reading and/or math but also have experience teaching writing, social studies, and science. I look forward to hearing about your child and working with you to help them be successful.
