About Amy

I've worked part-time, on-call, and full-time as a caregiver for seniors in Los Altos, Sunnyvale, and IHSS Sacramento. I provide transportation to and from appointments, as well as companionship, meals, medications dispensing, bathing, laundry, diapering, housekeeping, and maintenance. I am great with wheelchair transfers from the bed, a chair, or vehicle. I prefer to treat the elderly as aging adults who need assistance, rather than adults who have become babies again. Although elderly people (at times) require the same kind of help that children need, I appreciate the desire to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect and not be belittled or treated like a child.
