About Amy

As a caregiver, my passion stems from a teacher who cared deeply for me, inspiring me to do the same. With four years of experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to three children between the ages of one and three. My patient and creative nature allows me to engage children in various activities, including outdoor games, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I believe effective communication is key. I provide daily in-person reports and periodic text updates, while urgent matters are addressed via text or phone calls. Though a former preschool teacher experienced in enforcing rules, I defer to parents when they're present. My background includes some college, early childhood education (ECE), and coursework in early child development. I am CPR-trained and certified in First Aid. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I can assist with light housekeeping and enjoy engaging in crafts. I find joy in helping children grow and learn.
