About Amy

I am an art student who has lived in New York for the past 10 years. I have actively worked with children for 13 years as a teacher to children K-8 in after school enrichment art programs, and have extensive experience babysitting toddlers and elementary school age children for 10 years. During this time, I helped the children with homework, took them to camp, taught them art, and cooked meals. I love working with kids, and especially encouraging them to be creative. My experience as a Residence Advisor in my living hall for two years has taught me valuable methods for homework help/time management, providing emotional support, and responding to crisis/medical emergencies. I'm easygoing, responsible, organized and fun-loving! I am very animal friendly! I am CPR and First-Aid certified. I can easily adapt to your schedule/needs, and would be able to pick up additional tasks such as cooking, cleaning, making grocery runs, etc. to help make your life as easy as it can be.
