I was born with a caring and compassionate heart for comforting and assisting people with all sorts of need whether its medical, physical, emotional, or basic needs. I currently work with a 94 y/o male several hours a week and I am looking for another patient to add to bond with and provide physical and emotional support to the patient and their family. I started my nursing career at age 18 with my CNA and BLS licenses and now have almost 7 years experience in various healthcare settings including nursing homes, rehab centers, hospitals, and ICU units. I hired Amy to help me with my elderly father. He needed someone to assist him with his daily activities and to keep him company. It isn't easy for a father to accept help from his son and he can be a "grouchy old man" at times. Like magic, when Amy arrives, remains calm, polite and even cheerful. She is a true professional and a caring individual. As a healthcare worker myself, I am very particular about someone besides me taking care of my dad and she impressed me from day one. My dad turns 94 soon and I am so glad that I found Amy. In just over a month it's like she's like one of the family. Anyone would be lucky to have her in any capacity!
